The importance of an annual boiler service
Although a boiler service may seem like an unnecessary extra cost each year, it is essential to ensure that your boiler is working safely and efficiently to increase the lifespan of your boiler, saving you money in the long run.
The less efficient a boiler is, the higher fuel bills will be. So cut costs and reduce your carbon footprint by getting your boiler serviced. In addition, getting your boiler serviced regularly can help lower your heating bills by maintaining maximum boiler efficiency.
This is because the service will clean up any deposits that have built up in the boiler. In addition, simple things such as ensuring the internal combustion area are clean and free of debris will improve the heat transfer and allow the boiler to light more easily and burn efficiently.

What People Say About Us
What happens during a boiler service?
Visual Inspection
Your engineer will begin by visually inspecting your boiler. This will involve removing your boiler's casing, checking, cleaning and making necessary adjustments to its internal parts. This also allows your engineer to check for any signs of damage or distress before they become an emergency.
Operation & Control
Your boiler includes several controls and safety devices. These will need to be tested to ensure they are operating correctly.
Flue and Combustion Releases
Construction, termination and the route of the flue pipe from your boiler to the outside of your house will be checked. This will involve ensuring there are no obstructions and that everything has been safely fitted.
Cleaning the Main Boiler Components
The main components of your boiler will be removed and cleaned during a service. This helps the engineer see any noticeable faults and ensure they are fit for purpose. Parts in these checks will include; the heat exchanger, ignition pins, flue ways and main burner.
